The craftsmen and cabinetmakers employed by Hansen Living take pride in their profession. Knocking together run-of-the-mill furniture in a hurry is not what they do –building furniture with loving care is.

Tenoned joints have almost become a feature of the past. Too demanding for the automated furniture industry they have been replaced by nails, bolts and glues. Hansen Living, however, insists on traditional craftmanship and you will find tenoned joints in every piece of our furniture. Not only are tenoned joints beautiful, they also offer exceptional strength and stability.

The signs of fine craftmanship and professional pride is found in each and every detail. The drawers slide with meticulous accuracy and when it comes to finish there is no end to the length we will go. Surfaces are carefully polished, oiled and polished again in order to reach that silky, smooth feeling.
